Fidenaro is a decentralized social trading platform developed on the Radix network that allows users to follow and copy the positions of experienced cryptocurrency traders.

Etymology

‘Fidenaro’ is a neologism but could be roughly translated as ‘A place of trust’ in Latin.

History

Fidenaro was founded in late 2022. The team planned a full launch with real money for 2024, and it has not happened. What shipped is a beta: app.fidenaro.com is a trading front-end whose code, read on 16 September 2026, names only Stokenet addresses. Stokenet is Radix's public test network, where tokens have no value. None of those addresses works now. The test network was reset on 29 August 2026 and everything deployed on it was lost, and none of the 23 components the app calls, nor its package or its five tokens, exists on the new network. The documentation still describes the beta as a recent milestone ahead of a mainnet launch “in the coming months”. The code is public in fidenaro-core, a Rust and TypeScript repository under the Apache 2.0 licence, last changed on 22 October 2024.

Features

  • Profit from Expertise: Users can harness the knowledge and time of expert traders.
  • Mutual Benefits: Fidenaro’s design ensures that both traders and investors derive benefits. While traders share their expertise to potentially boost investor profits, they, in turn, receive a portion of the gains.
  • Smart Leveraging: The platform offers tools that may help enhance user profits through informed leveraging decisions.
  • Security: The platform provides a transparent, controlled environment bolstered with the latest technological advancements for utmost security.
  • Scalability: Fidenaro's underlying foundation, the Radix network, ensures that even during peak usage, transaction fees remain affordable.
  • Transparency: The platform bolsters trust by making traders' trading histories and performances public. This aids investors in making informed decisions.

For Traders:

Proficient traders have the facility to augment their profits using margin. By sharing their trading strategies and outcomes, they can attract other Fidenaro users. If their strategies are convincing and their performance commendable, they might attract capital from other users to trade with. In this partnership, traders earn a fraction of the returns made on these investments.

For Investors:

Investors can navigate market volatility by banking on the expertise of Fidenaro's traders. The platform assists in monitoring each trader's strategy and success, creating the necessary transparency for investment decisions. Barring the trader's fee, profits are directly transferred to the investor's wallet upon selling.

Roadmap

  • Q4 2023, beta launch (SAPPHIRE): an open beta using virtual money. It shipped on Stokenet, and the network reset of 29 August 2026 removed it.
  • Q2 2024, full launch (EMERALD): traders and investors using real money. Not shipped.
  • 2024, FDN token launch (DIAMOND): a token users could buy, or earn by supporting the platform. Neither the site, the app nor the documentation mentions it.
