XSEED (ticker $XSE) is the reward token of the RadixDLT Staking validator node, a Swiss-operated validator on the Radix mainnet. The token exists to reward long-term delegators to the node and to help fund projects across the Radix ecosystem — its on-ledger resource metadata describes it simply as “Supporting and funding various Radix projects.”

Not to be confused with MetaXSeed Games ($MXS), an unrelated gaming token on Ethereum/Avalanche. Despite the similar name, the Radix $XSE token described here has no connection to that project.

Status

As of July 2026 the project appears dormant. The node's public dashboard at xseedstaking.com (the former radixdltstaking.com domain now redirects here) reports effectively no active stake and minimal recent uptime, and the site's content has not been substantively updated since 2024. The $XSE token itself remains live on-ledger with an immutable, fixed supply.

Overview

The RadixDLT Staking node distributes $XSE to delegators as a bonus on top of the standard XRD staking rewards earned for helping secure the network. The stated aim is to give long-term delegators a share in the node's growth and to build a treasury for funding other Radix projects, rather than to serve as a currency for any external platform.

Token

$XSE is a native Radix fungible token (resource_rdx1tkk…es80d5) with a fixed total supply of 10,000,000. Its mint, burn, freeze and recall authorities are all permanently set to deny_all, so no further tokens can ever be created and the supply is immutable. Distribution follows a published schedule weighted toward staking rewards (the largest tranche), with smaller allocations reserved for long-term delegator bonuses, marketing, team and future projects.

Staking and Distribution

Delegators earn $XSE by staking XRD to the RadixDLT Staking validator through the Radix Wallet. Per the node's published terms, roughly 1 $XSE is distributed for every 20 XRD staked, with a minimum staking period before rewards accrue. Rewards are earned in XRD from validator emissions in the usual way; the $XSE distribution is an additional incentive layered on top by the node operator.
