Position Overview
We are seeking a talented 3D Artist to join our creative team as we expand our artistic capabilities. This role offers the opportunity to help shape our studio's 3D visual direction while working on innovative blockchain-integrated gaming projects. The position is available for both full-time and part-time remote work, offering flexibility while maintaining high creative standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Create high-quality 3D models, textures, and animations for games
- Design and develop character models, environments, and props
- Implement proper topology and optimization for game assets
- Create and maintain materials and texture libraries
- Collaborate with the art team to establish and maintain consistent visual styles
- Work closely with game designers to ensure assets meet gameplay requirements
- Optimize 3D assets for various platforms including mobile and web
- Participate in the creative process from concept to final implementation
- Create promotional 3D artwork for marketing materials
- Document artistic processes and maintain asset libraries
Required Qualifications
- Proven experience in 3D modeling and texturing for games
- Strong portfolio demonstrating game-ready 3D art
- Proficiency in industry-standard 3D software (Maya, Blender, or similar)
- Experience with PBR texturing workflows
- Understanding of game art optimization techniques
- Knowledge of modern game engine requirements
- Strong artistic fundamentals (composition, color, lighting)
- Experience with UV mapping and texture creation
- Ability to work within technical constraints
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in mobile game development
- Knowledge of real-time rendering techniques
- Familiarity with procedural texturing tools
- Animation experience
- Understanding of rigging principles
- Experience with Unity or Unreal Engine
- Background in character design
- Knowledge of blockchain gaming or P2E concepts
- Experience with version control systems
- Understanding of UI/UX design principles
