Overview
Instabridge was a regulated cross-chain bridge connecting Ethereum and Radix, wrapping ERC-20 tokens to x-assets at 1:1. It was the original bridge for eXRD-to-XRD conversion and wrapping ETH, wBTC, USDC, and USDT onto Radix.
Deprecation
Instabridge ceased all operations on September 8, 2025, coinciding with the launch of Hyperlane as the primary cross-chain bridge for Radix. Hyperlane's permissionless, audited architecture and connection to 150+ chains made Instabridge's regulated, KYC-required model redundant.
Developed by Metapass (Radix) Ltd, Instabridge required KYC via Instapass and charged 15 bps (capped at $500) for outbound transfers.
