Hyperlane Bridge Launch

Overview

Hyperlane launched on Radix mainnet in August 2025, providing permissionless cross-chain connectivity to over 150 chains. The integration was audited by Zellic (August 15–22, 2025) and has processed $8B+ in bridged assets.

Architecture

The Radix deployment includes the Hyperlane Mailbox, Interchain Security Modules (ISMs), and Interchain Gas Paymaster (IGP). Version 1.1.0 (October 2025) added WarpTokens for cross-chain asset transfers — supporting USDC, USDT, wBTC, SOL, BNB, and ETH flows between Ethereum, Arbitrum, Base, and Radix.

Impact

Hyperlane's launch coincided with the start of Radix Rewards Season 1, driving 151M XRD net outflow from exchanges into the ecosystem. Protocols like Ociswap and Root Finance aggregate multichain liquidity through Hyperlane routes. Its permissionless design means anyone can deploy new warp routes to additional chains.
