The Radix Wiki Hackathon is an annual in-person and online community event organized by RADIX.wiki, designed to introduce developers and university blockchain societies to the Radix stack.
¿ Why Radix?
Radix’s pre-sharded, horizontal architecture is practically infinite, allowing it to scale linearly with the number of validators. A recent test on the Cassandra research network hit ~200k transactions per second and its consensus protocol Cerberus has been peer reviewed up to 10m TPS on 1024 shards. Unlike Ethereum’s external scaling solutions, Radix maintains atomic composability across shards and the rest of its stack is also highly optimized for developer experience and mass adoption.
🎯 Objectives
- NUDGE thousands of gifted students towards Web3.
- BUILD an alumni network that will fund future Radix unicorns.
- FRONT LOAD investment to steepen the adoption curve.
- ESTABLISH solid partnerships with global academic institutions.
- CREATE new applications on the Radix network that can draw in new users.
- MATCHMAKE talent with investment partners.
