Leon was born in Barcelona and raised in Palma de Mallorca. He discovered his passion for programming at 11 years old when he started copying Basic code from books and magazines. His fascination migrated to databases, beginning with Lotus software and Borland databases.
Education
Leon studied computer science and further developed his skills in the field. While at a polytechnic institute, he was introduced to cryptography and online payments by acquaintances from the telecommunications faculty. This led him to work with RipplePay in 2005, planting the seeds for his future career in distributed systems.

Making known and teaching the possibilities of Scrypto among the Hispanic community is our obsession and that is why from the beginning we created a project to teach smart contracts for the Radix network from 0. For more than a year and a half hundreds of people have learned Scrypto and have been able to take their first steps. Currently the project is being transformed and specialized, its new birth will be linked to the update to Babylon. But the objective will be the same, to empower the Spanish-speaking community by providing the necessary educational material so that they can create their own decentralized projects with Scypto.
Nodo AprendeScrypto (before: Suena Merengue)
Since the 0th minute of Olympia, the node formerly known as Suena Merengue has been a reference within the Hispanic world. There are many people in the Hispanic Radix community who trust and delegate to our node. The name of the node is given by the type of music it is, just as a DLT never loses its rhythm. With the Babylon update, the node will change its name to 'AprendeScrypto' and will be closely related to the educational project of the same name in order to help students with an infrastructure to be able to carry out their exercises and test their dApps.
