The Radix Accountability Council (RAC) was established in February 2026 via community consultation to guide the transition from Foundation-led to community-led governance. Over 1.34 billion XRD from 1,151 unique accounts participated in the vote.

All elected members received supermajority support, indicating broad community consensus.
Responsibilities
- Establish operational framework for the Council
- Coordinate administrative requirements for the 2026 transition
- Serve as primary interface between community will and Foundation execution
- Facilitate (not direct) decision-making on RFPs, governance proposals, and infrastructure transition
