Overview

Proof of Personhood on Radix is a privacy-preserving identity verification system powered by idOS. Launched on Radix mainnet on November 11, 2025, it enables users to verify their identity once and receive a soulbound Proof-of-Personhood Badge in their Radix Wallet.

How It Works

1. User visits the idOS portal
2. Completes facial recognition verification
3. Receives a non-transferable badge as a native NFT
4. Badge gates access to governance, DeFi features, or anti-Sybil protections

Privacy-First Design

User data is stored encrypted under the user's own keys. Applications can verify identity status (has badge = verified) without accessing personal information. This is described as "compliance-ready, privacy-first, and interoperable across chains."

Integration

Completing verification earns Season Points for Radix Rewards. Developers integrate with a single line of code, checking for badge presence via Radix's native access rules.
