Governance Snapshot Asset Rules

Overview

Governance Snapshot Asset Rules define how XRD balance snapshots are taken to determine voting weight in governance consultations. These rules specify which assets count (XRD, staked XRD via LSUs, LP positions) and the snapshot timing to prevent vote manipulation.

The rules were first applied in the Validator Subsidy consultation, where 71.6% of participating XRD voted in favor of the sunset plan.
