StakingCoins is a blockchain node and validator company founded by Marco Michelino, an experienced Italian Linux system administrator and member of the Radix DLT community.
History
Marco, the founder of StakingCoins, first began his journey into the world of cryptocurrencies in 2013 when he purchased his first Bitcoin. Over the years, he expanded his activities into running various blockchain nodes. His engagement with the Radix DLT community further deepened when he participated in testing the Radix DLT betanet with his own node. Marco also serves as a Radix Ambassador and runs the unofficial Radix DLT Italian Telegram group (@Radix_Italia).
Infrastructure
StakingCoins operates two physical validator nodes – each with 32 GB of RAM and 12 CPU cores – hosted in separate tier-4 data centers in France and Germany, providing geographic redundancy and DDoS protection.
Validator Proposal
As of 24 October 2026 the StakingCoins validator (validator_rdx1sva6pmkgm5yacumw4p6k0xsfnqg598xkj9p4e2a58dl6gcrqpx7z86) is registered on the Radix mainnet with 12.7m $XRD staked, but it has almost stopped proposing; see Missed proposals below.
Communication
For delegators of StakingCoins, there is a dedicated Telegram group (@Radix_StakingCoins), where a bot automatically informs members of any issues with the validator node. In addition to this, Marco can be contacted through Discord at rigel#5123 and is active on Twitter under the handle @Radix_SC.
On-ledger status (24 October 2026)
Read live from the Radix Gateway at epoch 352,228 on 24 October 2026, the StakingCoins validator is registered, accepts delegated stake, sits in the active set, and holds 12.7m $XRD: rank 62 of the 186 registered validators by stake. On 10 August 2026 it held 15.4m $XRD at rank 61. Stake units are issued as resource_rdx1t4p…m5aahap0 and unstake claims as resource_rdx1ntg…t96z4jfve. The fee it charges is shown live on its Radix Dashboard page.
Missed proposals (October 2026)
The validator has twice stopped proposing for days at a time while staying in the active set. It made none of the proposals due from it in the day to 17 September 2026, then missed only 19 between 24 September and 17 October, and has made almost none since. From the Gateway’s uptime statistics, read on 24 October:

Delegators who want to check the node or move their stake can do both from the Dashboard page; the operator's Telegram group, @Radix_StakingCoins, carries the bot that reports node problems.
