EasyMoon is a cryptocurrency project that aims to distribute free tokens every week to those who want them. The project is built on the Radix network and has a total supply of 42 billion $EMOON tokens. The tokens are distributed for free in a weekly giveaway that lasts for 42 weeks. The giveaway ends close to the arrival of Babylon, which is why the number 42 was chosen.
Weekly Giveaway
To participate in the giveaway, users must install the Radix Desktop wallet and stake a minimum of 1000 XRD. Wallets that do not meet this requirement are not eligible for the giveaway. On Mondays, participants must send 1 XRD to the specified address. Free tokens will be sent out within the next day. Transactions sent outside of Monday UTC timezone are not valid.
Tokenomics
EasyMoon has a total supply of 42,000,000,000 tokens. 60% of the tokens are distributed for free in the weekly giveaway for 42 weeks. 15% of the tokens are used for marketing and giveaways, 15% go to liquidity pools like OCISWAP and other DEXes and exchanges, and 10% go to the founders of the project for further development.
EasyMoon tokens can also be purchased on Ociswap. However, the project warns that free tokens can lead to addiction and encourage users to buy more tokens for real XRD.
Criticisms
As with any cryptocurrency project, EasyMoon has faced criticisms. Some have criticized the project for relying on hype and FOMO to drive demand for the tokens. Others have questioned the sustainability of the project, as it relies heavily on the popularity of the Radix network. Additionally, the fact that the tokens are distributed for free has led to concerns about the fairness of the giveaway and the potential for manipulation.
Despite these criticisms, EasyMoon remains a popular project among cryptocurrency enthusiasts, particularly those who believe in its potential for growth.
