# Project Elysium

**Project Elysium** is a decentralized Non-Fungible Token (NFT) project on Radix. The project aims to create a decentralized metaverse with a community-driven story. It is more than just an NFT project, as it seeks to create intellectual property that fans and the community can contribute to, share, and benefit from. The goal is to create Web 3.0's first truly decentralized and open-sourced science fantasy saga.

## **Overview**

Project Elysium was announced on April 20, 2023, with the intention of creating a decentralized story for a decentralized metaverse. The project is based on the principles of Web 3.0, which it interprets not just as a technology, but also as an ideology and a model. The project believes in decentralization, community involvement and governance, and incentivization for the most accomplished and passionate.

## **Initiatives**

The first initiative of Project Elysium is a story-rich graphic novel and a traditional Dungeons & Dragons (DnD) style Role-Playing Game (RPG). The details of these initiatives are expected to be released in the coming weeks.

## **Philosophy**

Project Elysium believes that the Web 3.0 model can be applied to any company, idea, or industry, including the comic and tabletop RPG industry. These industries have a low barrier of entry and allow for the creation of intellectual property. The project aims to create a place where people are not just consumers and marketing tools, but active participants in the products and experiences they want to enjoy and build.
