## Overview

[ASCENT](https://ascent.xrd.workers.dev) is a token-based, skill-based arcade game on [Radix](/contents/tech/core-protocols/radix-engine) in which a luminous orb climbs a live chart. As the on-chain token's price rises, more of the game's features unlock — its on-ledger token metadata describes it as "a token for an experimental game of the same name. The token price influences the game: the higher it goes, the more features are unlocked." Players time jumps and bounces to climb, with a competitive "Beacon Mode" (a paid live entry) alongside free practice, and a wallet connection is required to save scores and change cosmetics such as auras, satellites, and trails.
