## Foundation Operational Stack Handover

The [next phase of decentralization](https://www.radixdlt.com/blog/the-next-phase-of-decentralization-rfps-for-gateway-and-relay-services) is underway. The [Radix Foundation](/ecosystem/radix-foundation) has opened RFPs for community and commercial operators to take over three priority services: the [Babylon Gateway endpoint](/ideas/gateway-service-rfp), Connect Relay, and Signaling Server. These are the services wallets, explorers, and dApps depend on daily. The Foundation will retain a commentary role on submitted bids but will not pick winners unilaterally — that shifts to the emerging community governance structure.

The Gateway RFP in particular is generating significant debate on [RadixTalk](/ecosystem/radixtalk), with 32+ replies questioning whether the current single-instance DataAggregator architecture is the right foundation for a decentralized operator model. The conversation is healthy and exactly the kind of scrutiny this transition needs.

## Radix Accountability Council Seated

The [Radix Accountability Council](/community/radix-accountability-council) ([RAC](/ideas/radix-accountability-council)) — five elected community members — is now operational following the February consultation. 1.34 billion XRD from 1,151 accounts participated in the vote, the strongest community mandate in Radix history. The five members: Peachy (92.76%), Jazzer_9F (82.92%), Avaunt (58.44%), projectShift (57.22%), and Tadkis (who replaced Faraz in February 2026).

The RAC's first responsibility is coordinating the Foundation → community handover, including overseeing the RFP process and the formation of the Radix DAO. They serve as facilitators, not commanders — final decisions remain with the broader community via governance consultation.

## Validator Subsidy: Countdown to June

The [validator subsidy wind-down](/ideas/validator-subsidy-sunset) is on schedule. Following the 71.6% community vote in favour, the taper is progressing: March cap of $200, April–May at $100 (administered by the incoming Community Entity), and full termination in June 2026. Validators who have not yet adjusted their fee structures should do so now — the subsidy has been covering the gap between fees earned and operating costs for many node operators. After June, fees alone must cover costs.

## [Radix Rewards](https://www.radixdlt.com/blog/radix-rewards) S1: 114.3M XRD Distributed

The [Season 1 distribution](/ideas/radix-rewards-s1-distribution) completed on February 3, 2026. 114,347,194 XRD was distributed across Season 0 and Season 1 participants. Vesting structure: 20% immediately accessible, 80% released over 7 days. The Diamond Hands Bonus redistributed any XRD forfeited by early exits to those who vested fully. A community RFC for a Mini Season 2 during the Foundation handover period is [under discussion on RadixTalk](https://radixtalk.com/).

## Blend: Institutional Lending on Radix

Blend is a fixed-rate institutional lending platform being built on Radix, currently in its definition phase. Partners include [Brevan Howard](https://www.brevanhoward.com/) (institutional liquidity), [Keyrock](https://keyrock.eu/) (market making), Anthic (liquidations), and Instabridge (cross-chain liquidity). No launch date has been announced. If completed, Blend would represent the first institutional-grade fixed-rate lending protocol on Radix, bringing significant external capital into the ecosystem.

## RFC: Migrate Developer Docs to RADIX.wiki

A community RFC on RadixTalk proposes migrating the official Radix developer documentation to RADIX.wiki, positioning the wiki as the canonical source for [Scrypto](/developers/legacy-docs/updates/roadmap/scrypto/scrypto) guides, [Gateway API](https://docs.radixdlt.com/docs/gateway-api) reference, and integration tutorials. The proposal has 25+ replies and reflects growing community confidence in wiki-based infrastructure as the Foundation steps back from operating developer resources directly. This aligns with the [P3 Services handover](/ideas/p3-services-handover) roadmap item. No final decision has been made.

## Ecosystem Fund: Sunset

The [Radix Ecosystem Fund](/ecosystem/radix-ecosystem-fund) — originally 250 million XRD ($10M) — has been sunset. The Foundation's [2026 Strategy](https://www.radixdlt.com/blog/2026-strategy-the-next-chapter-of-radix) replaced the traditional grant model with community-driven Requests for Proposals (RFPs) overseen by the [Radix Accountability Council](/community/radix-accountability-council). The separate Foundry Program ($250k incubation track) has also ceased. During its operation, approximately 20 million XRD was distributed across 67 grants.

## New on RADIX.wiki This Week

- [Radix Rewards S1 Distribution](/ideas/radix-rewards-s1-distribution) — Added March 14. Full breakdown of the 114.3M XRD distribution, vesting schedule, and Diamond Hands Bonus mechanics.

- [Bayesian](/community/bayesian-mmpdpgge) — Community profile added March 13.

## Contribute

RADIX.wiki runs on community contributions. Every page you create or improve earns points toward a future XRD airdrop. Check the [leaderboard](/leaderboard) and start contributing — the wiki is the community's institutional memory as the Foundation transitions out.
